Creating Workflows

For the Compamed/Medica trade fair, we developed a specific medical workflow.

Our goal was to demonstrate how various devices (desktop, tablet, smartwatch) can be integrated into an intelligent workflow. The application is as follows: A laboratory device performs a process that requires multiple liquids.

• When one of the liquids reaches a minimum level, a notification is sent to the devices – or to individuals.
• The task can be accepted on the device – for example, a smartwatch.
• All other people in the laboratory are notified that the task has been taken over.
• All activities are logged.

This relatively simple workflow illustrates how connected work can function. The complete solution, including UX/UI design, app design, and software implementation, was developed by Alphagate.
